Conveniently charge/maintain your vehicle's battery through the cigarette lighter or power plug port. Fuse protected with 12" cord. Connects to Battery Butler Storage Charger (BBFC100 & BBFC200). Note: Adapter should only be used in a cigarette lighter or power plug port that is NOT energized by the ignition switch.

Connect our BBFC100 Battery Butler (TM) Storage Charger to this optional Cigarette Lighter/Power Plug Adapter, and you can conveniently charge your battery through your cigarette lighter or power port; eliminating the need to connect your charger directly to your battery terminals.
Now there is no need to open your hood to charge your battery. Great for batteries that are not easily accessible

Do not use this adapter in a port that is energized by the ignition switch. Why? Your battery will not charge and possible damage to vehicle's electronics, and this charger, may occur.
How can you tell if your vehicle's port is energized by the ignition switch? With the ignition switch in the OFF position (the key out), plug a device like a cell phone charger or radar detector into the port. If the device has power, then you can use that port and this adapter to charge and maintain your battery.
