ONE-YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY
We warranty all our products to be without defects and to function like new or as-original at the time of purchase. While most manufacturers do not warranty electrical items, we will repair or replace our products in the event of a manufacturing defect for a period of 1 year* from the date of original purchase, with dated proof of purchase, after obtaining an R.M.A. (Return Merchandise Authorization) number. This warranty does not cover shipping or insurance charges to or from our facility. Our warranty covers normal consumer use, and does not cover damages that occur in shipping, or failure that results from alteration, accident, misuse, abuse, neglect, improper installation, or improper care and maintenance. In all cases, the liability of Lectric Limited or the manufacturer is limited to the original purchase price of the product. Neither Lectric Limited nor the manufacturer will be responsible for any incidental or consequential damages resulting from the use or misuse of the product. Liability limitations may vary by state, and you may have additional rights or remedies depending on your state of residence.
IMPORTANT. Please read before attempting installation of our products.
Upon receiving your Lectric Limited product and before beginning installation.
- Check Your Shipment Immediately: Upon receipt, inspect the contents of your package. Report any damage, order discrepancies, or issues with your packing slip to us within 48 hours (2 business days).
- Damaged Package: Inspect your package upon delivery. If you find any shipping damage, contact the carrier immediately to file a claim. Do not return the product to Lectric Limited or your retailer until the claim is resolved.
- Verify Correct Part: Ensure the part you received matches your specific year/make/model and application.
Wiring Harnesses Only
If your purchase includes a wiring harness:
- Check the circuit test/quality control tag attached to the harness. This includes the Lectric Limited part number and confirms the item passed inspection.
- Ensure the part number on the tag or bag label matches your intended application.
- Do not remove the circuit test/quality control tag until the harness is fully installed, tested, and all systems function properly. No warranty or technical support will be provided if the tag is removed prematurely.
Warranty Conditions
Each Lectric Limited product is designed for a specific application and is guaranteed to fit and function properly for that application, and only if unmodified. Consequently, do not cut, alter, or modify a part without first contacting Lectric Limited. If you experience installation issues, contact our Technical Support Team (708-563-0400) before making any modifications. Any unauthorized modifications will void your warranty.
No refunds, returns, or exchanges will be accepted for parts that have been installed, attempted to be installed, or modified (without authorization from a Lectric Limited technical support team member).
If purchased directly from Lectric Limited and not from a dealer, unused/uninstalled in-stock items may be returned or exchanged with a restocking fee. Special Order items cannot be canceled or returned for refund or exchange.
* Warranty Duration Exceptions:
- There is a 3-year limited warranty on our Breakerless-SE ™ Electronic Ignition Conversion Kit (#38131).
- *There is no warranty on Fuse Block or Bulkhead Connector Repair Kits.
- *There is no warranty on Voltage Regulators, Power Window Motors or Windshield Wiper Motors.
