Alternator Conversion (Adapter) Harnesses
Now you can upgrade your alternator/generator and not have to cut or splice into your original wiring harness!
Convert “DN” type to a 10SI or 12SI Alternator: This simple plug-in conversion kit allows the use of a 10SI or 12SI internally regulated alternator in place of the original “DN” (Delcotron) type, externally regulated alternator. “SI” series alternators were commonly used on 1975-85 G.M. vehicles (or 1969-86 Corvettes). Two ways to help identify a 10SI or 12SI alternator is the V-belt pulley and 2 horizontal male-blade terminal connector (terminals typically labeled 1 & 2) present on the backside of the alternator. Alternator case and pulley-type can vary.
In addition to including the alternator adapter, this kit also includes the 4-terminal voltage regulator bypass module to eliminate your external voltage regulator. This bypass module simply plugs into your wiring harness where your voltage regulator was previously connected. By using a Lectric Limited conversion, you will not have to splice into your wiring harness and its easily reversable should you decide to go back to an original configuration.
Convert “DN” type to a CS130D, CS140 or CS144 Alternator: This simple plug-in conversion kit allows use of an internally regulated CS130 (not a CS130-D), CS140 or CS144 alternator in place of an original “DN” (Delcotron) type, externally regulated alternator. “CS” series alternators were commonly used on 1986-99 G.M. vehicles. Some ways to help identify a CS130 / CS140 / CS144 alternator is the external fan, serpentine belt pulley, and 4 pin-style terminal connector (3 small and 1 larger terminal, typically labeled P L I S) present on the backside of the alternator. Alternator case and pulley-type can vary.

This conversion is not for a CS130-D alternator. For a CS-130-D alternator, use our #500295 alternator conversion harness. By using a Lectric Limited conversion, you will not have to splice into your wiring harness and its easily reversable should you decide to go back to an original configuration.
Convert “SI” type to a CS130-D Alternator: This simple plug-in conversion allows use of a CS130-D alternator in place of the original “SI” series alternator. CS130-D alternators were commonly used on 1994 & up G.M. vehicles. Some ways to help identify a CS130-D alternator is the internal fan, vented case, serpentine belt pulley, and 4 pin-style terminal connector (all terminals the same size, typically labeled P L F S) present on the backside of the alternator. Alternator case and pulley-type can vary.
By using a Lectric Limited conversion, you will not have to splice into your wiring harness and its easily reversable should you decide to go back to an original configuration.

Alternator Relocation Harness (1963-65 Corvette)
Do you need to move your alternator to the opposite side of your 1963-65 Corvette’s engine compartment?
Use this alternator relocation harness when relocating your alternator from its original position on the passenger side to the driver’s side, while keeping the horn relay and voltage regulator in their original locations on the passenger side. This relocation may be necessary if you’re adding aftermarket air conditioning or replacing the engine, particularly if the new engine has the alternator mounted on the driver’s side.
Note: Must be used with our Original Design Series™ 1963-65 Corvette engine harness. Can also be used with any of our Alternator Conversion Harnesses.

Courtesy Light Delay-Off Module Kit
Did you always want to add a turn-off delay timer to the courtesy lights on your classic car? Well, we have the solution! Our delay timer allows your courtesy lights to remain luminated for a pre-selected amount of time, or until the ignition switch is turned on. At the end of the timed delay, your courtesy lights will gradually fade to dark, just like they do on modern vehicles. An adjustment knob allows delay time selection from 0 to 60 seconds.
To install this kit, connect the Black wire to a chassis ground. Splice the White wire to an existing vehicle courtesy light ground. The existing courtesy light ground wire will come from an existing door jamb switch or the headlight switch directly to an existing courtesy light. Splice the Pink wire to any ignition switch’s “IGN” or “ACC” connection. This connection is necessary to deactivate the courtesy light delay function when the ignition switch is turned on to prevent the courtesy lights from remaining on when you begin driving. Connect the Orange wire to any 12V fused battery power source.
Includes mounting bracket and detailed installation instructions.

Fuse Panel Conversion (1955-57 Chevrolet Full-Size)
If your 1955-57 full-size Chevy fuse panel is damaged or missing, finding an original replacement can be difficult. Or, if you’re looking to “upgrade” your glass fuses with modern ATO-style fuses, there weren’t many options for you in the past. In either situation, Lectric Limited now offers a solution! This fuse panel conversion was specifically designed for tri-five Chevys to replace the stock glass fuse panel with an updated ATO fuse block.
For 1955 full-size Chevy vehicles (use part #37138), the original fuse panel was located on the firewall, at the base of the steering column. This location cannot be used for this replacement fuse panel, as there is conflict with the steering column. Although this new panel can be mounted in many different locations, we recommend that it be located in the driver’s side kick panel just above the air vent. For 1956-57 full-size Chevy vehicles (use part #37139), the original fuse panel was located high under the dash, to the left of the steering wheel. Although this new panel can be mounted in many different locations, it is recommended that it be located in the original fuse panel location.
The mounting bracket supplied with this kit has several offsets to allow complete flexibility in its positioning. We recommend mounting this fuse panel assembly in a location that allows the most clearance around the panel. We suggest using the mounting bracket as a template for drilling the bracket mounting screw holes. A schematic for connecting additional wires into the “cage clamp” terminal block is also included.

H.E.I. Wiring Harness Modification/Conversion Service (Non-Corvette)
Do you plan to convert your breaker point-style distributor to a GM H.E.I. (High Energy Ignition) style distributor? We can make the wiring conversion for you as we’re assembling your new harness! *
Order the correct wiring harness part # for your car along with the H.E.I. modification part #34590. The harness you need to order is usually the Engine Harness but can also be the Dash Harness. To verify, check the wiring going to your car’s ignition coil and ballast resistor (if applicable) in your car.
This modification service includes a modification/conversion service performed by our wiring harness technicians while your harness is being assembled. We will correctly modify this harness from its original breaker-point application, to now be used with a General Motors’ H.E.I. distributor.

Torque Converter Lockup Switch Update Kit
Our torque converter lockup switch update kit allows you to control the lockup function of the torque converter in a TH200R4 or TH700R4 automatic transmission (a popular GM transmission model). These transmissions feature a lockup torque converter, which is designed to “lock” the torque converter’s internal clutch, eliminating the slip between the engine and transmission at higher speeds. This lockup improves fuel efficiency by reducing engine RPM at highway speeds and prevents unnecessary heat buildup in the transmission.
Why Install a Lockup Switch? 1) Improved Fuel Economy: Locking the torque converter during steady highway driving reduces engine RPM, improving fuel efficiency. 2) Better Control: Some drivers prefer manual control over when the converter locks, especially in performance, towing, or off-road situations where they might want to avoid locking the converter in certain conditions. 3) Preventing Heat: Locking the converter can also help prevent excess heat from building up in the transmission, particularly under load.
