TECH NOTES:

The Torque Converter Lock-Up Switch Update Kit allows for the automatic operation of the torque converter lock-up (overdrive), without the need of a computer or manual toggle switch to perform the same operation. With the automatic reduction in engine RPM, you get better fuel economy due to the slower running engine.

This easy-to-install kit contains:
* Fuse Holder & Fuse that obtains power from a 12V keyed ignition source
* Pressure Switch that screws into the transmission’s 4th gear oil pressure port and wires to the torque converter connection on the transmission
* Wiring
* Complete Installation Instructions

Functionality:
With the ignition on, upon detecting that the transmission is in 4th gear, the pressure switch is activated. This switches (locks) the torque converter into overdrive mode.
