This date code does not fit into the normal date code usage for 1969 model year applications.
This 3-Q-69 date code is offered because of the 1969 model year extended production that resulted from a GM labor strike. During the strike, many parts, including spark plug wires, were still being delivered to the assembly lines per normal scheduling.
It is possible that this date code may have been used on some of the extended production vehicles and is offered as a result. Lectric Limited has no information to verify if this date code was, or was not used.
