TECH NOTES:
The Transistor Ignition (T.I.) Amplifier Box Extension is the short wiring that goes from the internal circuit board (inside the T.I. box) that includes the rubber molded T.I. Amplifier box housing connector -to- the T.I. Auxiliary Harness's molded rubber connector. Basically, it is the wiring exiting the amplifier box.
This extension appears to be is the weakest link in the entire T.I. system and must be replaced if you have not already done so. Over the years, the spring-tension on the female terminals of this wiring will lose their grip on the male terminals they connect to, causing your engine to quit!
