TECH NOTES:
A wiring diagram is primarily used for troubleshooting electrical problems within a vehicle's electrical system. Our wiring diagrams show wire color, wire gauge, circuit number, wire position with in a connector, and graphics of to-and-from locations.
These diagrams are fully-laminated (both sides). So, while working on your vehicle, any grease/oil/dirt smudges can easily be wiped clean.
All Lectric Limited wiring diagrams graphically display all the wiring for a base model car (without factory options). Our diagrams are reproductions of those used by General Motors' mechanics, except they are displayed on one large page (not across multiple small pages).

It was originally part of the radio and convector/amplifier and came from inside these items.

Install on the negative post of your battery, attach battery cable to the switch and you're done! To engage power just hand tighten the green knob. To disconnect power, slightly loosen the knob or, on this top-post model, completely remove the knob to discourage unauthorized use while stored at home, parked, or when traveling.
